About Us
GotoBus offers travelers a user-friendly online marketplace to purchase inter-city bus tickets, tours, and sightseeing activities online. Historically, travelers have had to individually check the schedules of numerous bus providers and order tickets directly from each operator. Through GotoBus.com, travelers can search by destination and travel date to quickly compare schedules, itineraries, and prices for over 300 vendors.
Our Story
IvyMedia Corporation was founded in June 2000 with the mission of providing easy-to-use solutions for e-commerce. In 2002, IvyMedia began to focus on selling bus tickets online for the first independent bus line, a Chinatown bus company. Before long, many independent bus companies, including most Chinatown Bus lines, listed their tickets for sales through IvyMedia.com. At the beginning of 2006, IvyMedia.com was replaced by GotoBus.com to accurately reflect the nature of business.

Green Travel
We are strongly committed to eco-friendly travel. Through our business model, GotoBus actively promotes bus travel as a “greener” alternative to driving individual cars. Our buses typically carry between 40-60 passengers providing an energy efficient travel experience and helping to alleviate traffic overcrowding. GotoBus encourages employees to use green travel whenever possible by walking, biking or taking mass transportation to work.
